Sound Design

Film is an ‘audio-visual’ medium. The audience connects not only to what they see; but also, to what they hear. A blend of these two senses has an impact on the meaning. Students of Sound Design explore and familiarise themselves with the inherent qualities of sound that help them create effects that lend weight to the story and the characters.
