Mr. Vijaya Raghava
Member of Faculty for Acting

  • International experience across diverse contexts of Actor Training. He has done his doctoral studies in Performing Arts from Central University of Hyderabad and has Acted / Directed over 60 play productions.
  • An expert in the field of Acting and Theatre training and practice, he has conducted over 50 acting / theatre workshops / camps in and out of Hyderabad. He has taught, performed and attended international conferences and camps both in India and abroad. He has presented research papers in 7 international, 12 national and 8 regional conferences. He has several awards to his credit including AP state Nandi award and Bharat Jyoti award and Fellowships of UGC’s JRF-NET and Rotary GSE.
  • Has been a key contributor to various cultural organisations like ART (Association of Rural Theatre) and AREA ( Art Related Experimental Association).
  • His areas of expertise are – personality training, various acting and performance styles, acting principles and techniques, film and theatre acting with Stanislavski method and Indian classical method acting – Natya Shastra.
  • Has also designed and developed Theatre subject for arts education syllabus for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh State Council of Educational and Research (SCERT’s)
